New Two-Sided Bill Format
In an effort to improve customer experience and provide clearer billing information, SMPA will unveil a new two-page bill format, this coming June. The redesigned bill will offer more space, better readability, and highly visible essential details, making it easier for customers to understand their energy usage and account status.
Key features of the new format will include clear Time-of-Use (TOU) data for On- and Off-Peak periods, performance summaries for TOU/Net Meter Banks, and straightforward last month/last year usage comparisons. Customers will also find detailed billing information and timely notifications about their account and services.
