Energy Efficiency

 

Energy efficiency is often called the low hanging fruit, as it offers people simple and affordable ways to make big changes in their energy consumption. Efficient practices can be incorporated into any stage of a home – from new construction to older structures. And with energy prices rising, it is more important than ever for home and business owners to take steps to improve their energy efficiency. Any change, big or small, will have an effect on the electricity bill – even something as small as unplugging appliances that aren’t currently in use.

SMPA is constantly thinking of ways to help our members take advantage of energy efficiency solutions. That means providing members with valuable information, offering financial assistance and directing members to the resources they need.
